The widows of Vrindavan playing holi
Widows play holi and also celebrate their liberation from the age old societal practice that excluded them from any auspicious event. Holi celebration of the widows in Vrindavan was started by the efforts of an NGO called Sulabh International in 2013. This photograph was shot at the Gopinath temple in Vrindavan.
